  Tesch, Rita Liebergen Schauer - Rita Liebergen Schauer Tesch, 85, died on March 10, 2007, after a long illness. Rita was born Oct. 18, 1921, to the late Theodore and Lena (Burkart) Liebergen. On July 19, 1947, she married Edgar Schauer in New Franken. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1972. On Sept. 14, 1974 Rita married Clarence Tesch. He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 2006. Rita worked for the UW-Extension Program in Green Bay and farmed with her husband, Clarence, in Brillion until their retirement. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, square dancing and the time she spent with her grandchildren. Rita is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol (Ken) Puyleart, Green Bay; two step daughters and sons-in-law, Barb (Rod) Hinz, Brillion; and Bev (Don) Schumacher, Racine. Rita's 10 grandchildren were the light of her life, Chuck (Carly) Puyleart, Julie Puyleart, Dan (Lisa) Puyleart, all Green Bay; Mike (Maggie) Hinz, Green Bay; Michele (Rob) Stock, Collinsville, Ill.; Nathan Hinz and Matthew Hinz, Brillion; Andrew Schumacher (fiance Julie Lichon), Kewaskum; Laura Schumacher and Greg Schumacher, Racine. Rita is further survived by one great-grandchild, Aristana Hinz; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Earl (Bernice) Tesch, Brillion; Ralph (Marcia) Tesch, Green Bay; Wilbert (Caroline) Borchardt, Francis Creek; Chuck Tesch (special friend, Sharen Krepline), Brillion; Lavern Sconzert, Green Bay; many nieces, nephews and a special godchild, Scott VanLaanen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Lena Liebergen; her loving husbands, Edgar and Clarence; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cecelia (Fred) VanLieshout, Marlene (Earl) VanLaanen and Millie Liebergen; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Casper Schauer, (Clara and Lucille) Werner Schauer, Leo Schauer, Ed (Mayme) Schauer, Magdalen (Larry) Holterman and Doris Borchardt. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 W. Ryan Street in Brillion. The Rev. Mathew Simonar will officiate. Burial will be in the Allouez Cemetery in Green Bay. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home, 215 So. Main Street in Brillion on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and then at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral Home. A special thank you to all the wonderful caregivers of Unit 8 Nursing Home Center of the Brown County Mental Health Center.
