  Brillion - Peter Van Lanen, 86, Brillion, Rt. 2, died Tuesday evening in a Green Bay hospital. He was born Aug. 3, 1877, and farmed in the town of Rockland for many years until his retirement. He had spent the past eight years with his daughter in Brillion. His wife the former Mary Smits, preceded him in death in 1940. Survivors include four sons, Alfred, Green Bay; Elmer and Arthur, DePere, Rt.1; Norman, Baraboo; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Lorretta) Tesch, Brillion, Rt. 2; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Albert, Kaukauna; one sister, Mrs. Joseph Angst, Green Bay. Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, DePere, after 7 tonight. The Rosary will be recited each evening at 8. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Frifday at St. Mary Catholic Church, DePere, with the Rev. Raymond Hietpas officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
