  Mrs. Thomas Hinton (Florence Schaefer) 924 West Fourth St.. Age 50, passed away Monday evening at 11:30 p.m. after a short illness. She was born August 7, 1924 in Appleton where she was a lifelong resident. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Society and the Third Order of St. Francis. She was a charter member of the Silver Cross Circle of Kings Daughters. Besides her husband, Thomas, she is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Steve (Sally) Driessen of Appleton; her son and daughter in- law, Steve and Beth Hinton of Appleton; and a son, Tommy at home; her mother, Mrs. Sarah Schaefer of Appleton; a brother, Judge Nick F. Schaefer of Appleton; three sisters, Mrs. Michael (Genevieve) Dunford of Hopewell Va. Mrs. Ben (Mary Ann) Ewers of Racine, Wisconsin, Mrs. William (Sally) Hatch of Milford, Conn.; a granddaughter, Kelly Hinton. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Roger Zach officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home from 4 until 9 Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
