  Anton Chopin lost his life in the wood yard at the Badger mill shortly after 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. He had just commenced to assist in unloading a car load of pulp timber, and in carrying the second stick from the car to the pile. He slipped from the plank used to walk on and fell to the ground, a distance of about ten feet. The heavy piece of wood which he had on his shoulder followed, the butt end striking his head and crushing it to the ground where he struck.
