  Vande Burgt, Julie K. Julie Vande Burgt, 49, Greenville, died unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at her home following a brain aneurysm. She was born June 4, 1959, in Kaukauna, daughter of Marlene Allen and Virgil Vande Burgt. Julie was employed at Guardian Life Insurance Company for over 20 years. She was a U.S. Army veteran of four years, having served in Germany. Julie liked the outdoors, camping, gardening and birds. She was a true nature lover, a Packers fan and loved watching QVC. Julie is survived by her mother, Marlene Allen; her father, Virgil Vande Burgt; her sons, Bryan Henry and Brandon Shulfer; her sister and brothers, Vicky (Joe) Pynenberg, Jeff Vande Burgt and Jay (Kim) Vande Burgt; nieces and nephews, Jason (Cora) and Stacy Pynenberg, Nick, Dave and Laura Vande Burgt; great-nephews, Jordan Pynenberg and Christopher Vande Burgt; and a great-niece, Jasmine Pynenberg. Julie was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Deanna Henry on May 13, 1981; two nephews, Cory Pynenberg and Thomas Vande Burgt; and two aunts, Nile Allen and Susan Klassen. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Fr. James Hablewitz officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 3 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the mass. Military honors will be performed by members of the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post #258, Little Chute.
