  Mrs. Joseph (Sarah) Jost Route 1, Hilbert Age 78, passed away Thursday afternoon at Chilton following a lingering illness. She was born December 27, 1891 at Black River Falls and was a Hilbert area resident most of her life. She is survived by her husband, Joseph; four daughters, Mrs. George (Bernice) Schuessler, Neenah; Mrs. Ward (Florence) Eldred, Route 1, Hilbert; Mrs. Robert (Diane) Prusynski, Appleton; Mrs. Lloyd (Gertrude) Birchfield, Portland, Oregon; one son, Jerome, Appleton; three sisters; 27 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from St. Mary Catholic Church, Hilbert with the Rev. Mark Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
