Barbara E. Klein, age 62, of Manitowoc, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at her residence. Barbara was born on September, 12, 1950 in Kaukana, WI, daughter of the late Donald and Marjorie (Jacob) Schmitt. She enjoyed music, shopping and was an animal lover. Barbara previously worked at the Holiday House in Manitowoc for several years and also tutored young children in math. She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Donna Enneper, Whitelaw, Sandra (Dennis) Stephan, Fond du Lac, Carla Wolske, De Pere, Gary Schmitt, Francis Creek, Michael (Kelly) Schmitt, Neenah and Debra Hohner, Appleton. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister: Sylvia Schmitt; and Sylvia's infant son: Jonathan Lee. Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a grave side service will be held for Barbara at a later date.
