  Dorothy E. Schommer, Neenah, age 86, passed away unexpectedly following a brief illness on Monday, April 27, 2009. She was born April 21, 1923, in Clinton, IN, daughter of the late William Edgar and Sarah (Haire) Patterson. Dorothy married Harry Schommer on September 19, 1947, and they shared 61 loving years together until his death on January 7, 2009. Dorothy was employed with Kimberly-Clark until her retirement in 1978. She was a long-time volunteer at the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum. Dorothy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Neenah. She is survived by a brother, Robert (Lorraine) Patterson, Menasha; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Margaret Moder and Norma Funk. A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m., on Friday, May 1, 2009, at the First Presbyterian Church - Chapel, 200 Church St., Neenah, with the Rev. Richard J. Moore officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for First Presbyterian Church in her name. Dorothy went to join her husband Harry and they are now reunited in Heaven.
