She was born on January 5, 1936, daughter of the late Frank and Nell (Sommers) Koeppl. On May 7, 1960, she married Frederick C. Krueger at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Stephensville. They enjoyed 42 years of marriage together until his death on January 15, 2003. She was a member of S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville and the Christian Mother's Society. She was employed at the Hortonville School District where she was affectionately known as the "shake lady". Alice enjoyed bowling and loved her corner flower garden. We know God has a corner for your flowers in heaven. She is survived by 6 daughters: Mary Krueger, Kaukauna; Sue Reddy, Appleton; Deb (Rick) Diedrich, Hortonville; Theresa (Kevin) Marquette, Shawano; Tammy Krueger, Hortonville; Cindy Krueger, Henderson, Nevada; 4 sons: Chuck (Kaye) Krueger, Neenah; Randy (Sandra) Krueger, Bonduel; Tim (Brenda) Krueger, Cambridge; Tom Krueger, Green Bay; 10 grandchildren: Andrea (Tom) Gault, Mike Krueger, Alissa Reddy (fiancee Adam Warpinski), Miranda, Megan and Margo Diedrich, Adam and Mitchell Krueger, Rachel and Douglas Marquette; 3 step-grandchildren: Travis, Matthew (Terri) and Starla Golie; 3 great-grandchildren: Tristan, Samuel and Kylee Gault; a brother and sister-in-law: Lloyd and Karen Koeppl, Hortonville; a sister: Lola Mae Lapp, Stephensville and sister-in-law Charlotte Werner, Appleton. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends further survive her. She peacefully went to her heavenly father to meet her husband Fred, parents, relatives Vernice Lapp, Glen and Pearl Krueger, Dorothy and Willard Baehman, Helen Mae and Bob Draheim, Joseph Werner and other relatives and friends. The Funeral Mass for Alice Ann will be held at noon on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville with Fr. Jim Feely and Fr. Mark Vander Steeg concelebrating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Special thanks to Dr. Rasor and staff in New London; Dr. Guenther, Dr. Krueger and staff at Martha Siekman Cancer Center, Appleton Medical Center 3 South and the Outpatient Treatment Center, and the special care of Theda Care Home Hospice. Thank you to family, friends, co-workers, SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Community for the many prayers and all the recent birthday thoughts and wishes. Mom read and enjoyed every card!
