  Malliet, Bernice F. "Bunny" On Wednesday, July 15, 2009, the angels of heaven came to take Bernice "Bunny" Malliet, 79, Neenah, home to walk with Jesus following a battle with cancer. She was born October 23, 1929, in Appleton, daughter of Walter and Anna (Rizzi) Gauger. Bernice married Donald Malliet July 25, 1953, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and he preceded her in death August 30, 1991. Bunny was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. She was a 1949 graduate of Neenah High School. Bunny was employed at St. Margaret Mary School as an aide for 20 years and also Hewitt Machine Company for 7 years. "Bunny" was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister. Bunny is survived by a daughter, Sally (David) Borchert, Winchester; two sons: Mark Malliet, Neenah; Steve (Sharon) Malliet, Winneconne; son-in-law Chris Nord, Bozeman, MT; five grandchildren: Rachael and Maddie Borchert; Robbie Malliet; Eric and Lindsey Nord; two sisters: Delores (Gary Rubbert, Larsen; Judy (Lloyd) Danke, Readfield; three brothers: Ernie (Cathy) Gauger, Bayside; Marty Gauger, Neenah; Ray Gauger, Appleton; brothers-in-law: George (Florence) Malliet, New London; Eugene (Sandy) Malliet, Appleton; Roger Malliet, New London; Butch Malliet, Wrightstown; sister-in-law, Sister Alice Mae Malliet, Bay Settlement. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Vicki Nord; sister, Arlene DelFosse; brothers: Wally and Jack Gauger. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah, with Rev. Michael Ingold officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the Kessler Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of the mass. A parish prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
