  Gordon W. Simon 421 E Grant St Age 56, passed away suddenly at 12 30 p m Wednesday. He was born January 8, 1913 in Neenah and had been an Appleton resident most of his life, where he was employed as a machinist by the Appleton Coated Paper Co. He was also a member of the Quarter Century Club of the company and belonged to the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, having served during World War Two with the CB's. He is survived by his wife, Marie Stein Simon; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Mary Kay) Bradle, and Mrs. Daniel (Betty) Burhans, both of Appleton; his mother, Mrs. Katherine Simon, Appleton, three brothers, Raymond, Carl and Harold, all of Appleton; three sisters, Mrs. Don (Mildred) Larson, Mrs. Lloyd (Margaret) Chase, Milwaukee, Mrs. Mable Mory, Chicago; and 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday from St Theresa Catholic Church with interment following in St. Joseph cemetery. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home from 2 pm.
