  On the thirty first day of the month March one thousand eight hundred and twenty-eight, nine in the morning, before Jan Hendrick Schepers, Mayor official of the city of Dinxperlo, Province of Gelderland, appeared Manes Finkenvleugel, [I think it says sailmaker], 24 years old, living in this municipality, who has asked us to report the birth of a son of Hendrina ten Haken, twenty-eight years old, residing in this municipality, on the thirty-first day of the month of March of this year, at one in the morning, has brought into the world a boy, which he has declared he wants to give the name Bernardus. Registered in the presence of Jan Hendriks, a wooden shoe maker, aged 35 years, who is domiciled in this city and was brought as a witness to this act, which act is transcribed in the presence of two appropriate registers who have signed as witnesses.
