  Luther L. Ashauer, Sr. age 61 of Clintonville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at his residence. Luther was born on May 29, 1951, in Clintonville the son of the late Leo "Barney" and Rachel (Crowner) Ashauer. Survivors include: His wife of 21 years, Gloria, his daughters: Dawn Wallner, Milwaukee; Tammy Ashauer (special friend Billy Chmielewski), Shawano; and Samantha (Christopher) Peterson, New London. His sons: Leo Ashauer (fiance Lisa Bednarowski), Marion; Joseph (Amy) VanDenBerg, Milwaukee; and Luther Ashauer, Jr. (fiance Tyler Geske) Appleton. And stepchildren that he loved as his own, 19 grandchildren, his sisters: Maryann (Ronald) Luedke, Neenah & Rebecca Ashauer, Clintonville, His brother: Kermie (Kathy) Ashauer, Clintonville, the best mother-in-law ever: Mary Owens, Clintonville, nieces, nephews and cousins He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Mackenzie Miller. Memorial services will be held at 1 P.M., Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville with the Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Inurnment will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 12 noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Ashauer family. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville is assisting his family with the arrangements.
