  Pioneer Resident of Dale Township Is Dead, Medina August Bottensek, 84, a resident of the town of Dale for 82 years, died unexpectedly at his home in Medina Wednesday afternoon. He was born in Douseman, Waukesha County, in 1851 but resided there only two years. Survivors are the widow, two daughters, Miss Anne E. Bottensek, Eau Claire; Mrs. Charles Langman, Medina; three sons, William S. Bottensek, Vesper; Jay J. Bottensek, Hortonville; John Bottensek, Medina; one sister, Mrs. Edward Wege, Sr., Ellington; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the residence at 1:30 Saturday afternoon and at the Methodist church of Medina at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Daniel DeBraal will be in charge and burial will be in the South Medina Cemetery.
