  Leo J. Elsbernd age 69,of Centerville, passed away, Saturday, Apr il 5, 2003. Leo received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Universi ty of Cincinnati. He worked for the Cincinnati Waterworks for 15 years, t hen Southwestern Portland Cement Co., (now known as Cemex Corp.) until h is retirement in 1996. Leo was a veteran of the Korean War in the Army/Ai borne Div. of Ft. Bragg, N.C. He was a longtime member of Church of the I ncarnation. Leo was a member of various professional concrete organizatio ns and a former member of the Centerville Kiwanis Club. He was a Professi onal Engineer in Ohio & Kentucky as well as a Professional Surveyor in Ohi o. Preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Gertrude Elsbernd, sist er Betty Elsbernd. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Marian; son, Dr. Don ald (Dr. Elaine Winter) Elsbernd; daughter, Kathryn (Michael) Borchers; gr andchildren Donald John "DJ" and Kenneth "Kenney" Elsbernd, Amanda and Nic ole Borchrs. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 1 0, 2003 at the church of the Incarnation, 55 Williamsburg Lane, Centervil le with Father Lawrence Mierenfeld officiating. Entombment in Calvary Cem etery Mausoleum. Family will greet friends from 9:30 am until 10: 45 am at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. Memori al contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association of the Dayton Ar ea or Hospice of Day.
