  Gast, August, a well known and respected farmer of Town Almon, where he lived for many years, passed away last Wednesday of several months of consumption of the lungs. He reached the age of not quite fifty-six years and leaves a sorrowing wife, also eight children, five sons and three daughters. The two who are married are Mrs. Ed Branden from Birnamwood and Mrs. Otto Kieckhoefer from Town Almon. The funeral was held on Sunday at St. Peters Church in Birnamwood with Pastor Schneider officiating. Our condolences to the family.
