  Arthur E. Joos, age 93, a former Tigerton resident, died Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at the Homme Home of Wittenberg. He was born December 6, 1912, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of the late Peter and Rosina (Fluetch) Joos. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gertrude, survivors include five children: Marilyn (Paul) Tank, Medina; Leonard (Rose) Joos, St. Agnes, MI; Bruce (Diane) Joos, Merrill; Charlene Miller, Oconto; Larry (Sue) Joos, Caroline; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Clarine (Fred) Crown, Ohio; nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2006, at the Homme Home Chapel, Wittenberg. Fr. John Girotti will officiate. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services at the chapel. Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Monday in Most Precious Blood Cemetery, New London.
