  Ronald Theodore Lemmers, 66, Black Creek, passed away unexpectedly Feb. 18, 2010. He was born May 29, 1943, to the late Theodore and Elizabeth (Lamers). After graduation, Ron served in the U.S. Army and later landed a job at Miller Electric, where he crafted a career building, supervising, repairing and working on the R&D of small, engine-drive welders and generators. Throughout his life, Ron enjoyed camping and fishing, landscaping and gardening, woodworking and spending quality time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and friend who never thought twice about helping others. He appreciated the simple things in life like feeding the birds, enjoying a good campfire and the companionship of his beloved chocolate labs. Ron spent the last 15 years of his life with his "little angel" Christine (Resop) and was married to her Oct. 12th, 2008. Ron is survived by his loving wife Chris, sons: Andrew (Camille) and Matthew (Sheri), brother: Steve (Betty), sisters: Ethel Zuzelski, Doris Cost and Agnes Nett, mother-in-law: Mary Resop, sister-in-law: Sue Resop and granddaughter Carley. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Lawrence, Leo, and Thomas. A celebration of Ronald's life will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at Valley Funeral Home.
