  Mrs. E. J. (Gertrude) FemaI 524 E. North St Age 76. passed away at 3:30 Wednesday morning after a short illness. She was born October 30, 1891 in Kaukauna. She had lived in Appleton most or her life and was an officer of the Fox River Boiler Works: a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Society and the Lady Elks. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. C. W. (Carol) Peterson, Appleton; three sons, Francis X., James J., and Russell A., all of Appleton; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Weinkauf, Appleton and Mrs. Bert Roberts, Kaukauna; one brother, Sylvester Esler Appleton; 22 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Friday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brettschneider-Trettin Funeral Home from 7 to 9 o'clock Thursday evening. The rosary will be at 7:30 Thursday evening. Wednesday, May 1, 1968 The Post-Crescent, Appleton, WI.
