  Marnna Lynn Wickesberg, age 74, was called to her heavenly home on August 2, 2015. Marnna was born in Racine, Wisconsin on February 28, 1941 to the late Alfred and Helene (Holmen) Sorensen. Marnna married the love of her life, Donald Wickesberg of Black Creek, on May 12, 1964. They were devoted to each other and shared 48 wonderful years together before his passing away in May 2012. Marnna and Don were both Christian members of St Marks Lutheran Church in Neenah. They loved to travel together, hosted wonderful family pool parties at their home and whenever they traveled separately they would leave each other notes; Marnna's favorite to Don was "Be safe and pace yourself"…always wondered about that one. In addition to being a loving wife and homemaker, Marnna valued her volunteer work and enjoyed playing piano at Valhaven Care Center for worship services. Her heart was with the many people she strived to help. She will be missed by many. Marnna is survived by a sister, Kathleen (John) Fenn; two nieces, Lori (Ken) Gallagher and their children, Christopher (Briana) Hicks and Conner Gallagher, and Teri (Donn) Peterson and their children, Courtney and Caitlin. She is further survived by sisters-in-law, Janice (Wickesberg) Waltman, El Paso, TX, Sandra Wickesberg, Kaukauna, WI; brother-in law, Bruce Wickesberg, Albuquerque, NM, nephews, Joel and Jeff Huhn, David and Mark Wickesberg, and Brian Wickesberg, nieces, Jerilyn Huhn, Susan (Waltman) Sanchez, Nancy (Waltman) Vigil, Michele (Wickesberg) Johnston, Brenda (Wickesberg) Bestemen and Cathi (Wickesberg) Purcella, dear friends Carol (John) Halverson along with their sons David and Michael, as well as Crystal (Michael) Koehn and son, Nicholas and many cousins and other friends. In addition to her parents (Helene and Alfred Sorensen) and husband (Donald), Marnna is preceded in death by a brother, Jack Sorensen, brothers-in-law, John Fenn, Gerald Wickesberg, Jerry Huhn and Robert Waltman, sisters-in-law Joyce (Wickesberg) Huhn and Shirley Wickesberg; nephew, Tom Waltman and father-in-law, Launce Wickesberg and stepmother-in-law, Kathryn Wickesberg. Thank you to her support system these past few years; dear friends Carole and Jon Halverson, as well as their wonderful sons (and families) Michael and David and all the kind neighbors. As was Marnna's wish, a private graveside service was held. Thank you to Rev. Jim Wilson for officiating. Matthew 8:21-22 But Jesus said to him, "Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead."
