Bridg et Cook). This connects into your excellent pages, in that Timothy DeWa ne was the elder brother of Dennis DeWane (marr. Margaret Scanlon, the beg inning of the "Cooperstown DeWanes"). I was wondering whether you had a ny information on this level of the DeWane line, as this is where my resea rch starts to leave me cold. I noticed that you had information going back on the Dewanes (I belie ve in connection to the Powers family) to sons Dennis & Timothy and paren ts for whom you had no names and little information. The parents were Den is Dewane and Mary Maher and they came from Tipperary Ireland with their s ix children (siblings John, James, Bridget, and Mary were also missing fr om your tree).
