  PIONEER KAUKAUNA WOMAN IS DEAD Kaukauna - Mrs. Rosella Hoppe, died at her home on Elm-st at ? o'clock Tuesday evening. Mrs. Hoppe was born on Sept. 14, 1855, in Germany. Fifty years ago she came to this country and set- tled in Kaukauna. She was a member of the Motherhood society of the Holy Cross church. Survivors are her widower, one son Albert Hoppe and one daughter, Miss Frances Hoppe. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Friday morning at Holy Cross church, with Msgr. P. J. Wichman, in charge of the services, and interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery. Appleton Post-Crescent | Appleton, Wisconsin | Wednesday, September 03, 1930 | Page 11 HOLD FUNERAL FOR AGED KAUKAUNA WOMAN Kaukauna - Funeral services for Mrs. Rosella Hoppe, 74, who died Tuesday after a long illness, were held at 9 o'clock Friday morning from the Holy Cross Catholic church. Rev. P. J. Lochman, was in charge of the services. Burial was in the Holy Cross cemetery. Mrs Hpppe was born in Germany on Sept 14. 1855, and came to Kaukauna in 1881 and lived here since that time. Besides the widower one daughter Frances, and one son, Al- bert Hoppe, survive, Mrs. Hoppe was a memhar of the Christian Mothers' society of the Holy Cross church.
