  Bonnie Bayorgeon Strand, age 70, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2010, peacefully at home. Bonnie was born in Kaukauna to Joseph "Doty" and Lorraine Bayorgeon. At Kaukauna High she was known for her sense of humor, open heart and love of fun. Bonnie loved Kaukauna and stayed connected through the Kaukauna and Appleton papers throughout her life. In 1960, she married her college sweetheart, Wayne Strand, and they relocated to Virginia. While raising her son and daughter, Bonnie worked as a research assistant at the Central Intelligence Agency. Bonnie had many friends and was the life of any party. In retirement Bonnie and Wayne enjoyed travel and spending time with their extended family. She is survived by her devoted husband of fifty years, Wayne; her children; daughter Cynthia and granddaughters Kimberly, Jillian, and Gabrielle of Reston Virginia; and son Michael, his wife Lee and their sons Joey and Christopher of Chapel Hill North Carolina. She also is survived by her sister, Judy Prange of Wausau and her brother, Jim Bayorgeon of Appleton. There will not be a memorial service, those who wish to honor her memory may make a donation to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
