  Evelyn Tornow, 88, Neenah, went to sleep Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, and is reunited with her sisters who went before her, Marion, Lois and Ruth. She has longed to talk to them again! Evelyn was born Feb. 26, 1922, to the late Fredrick and Elsa (Gaudian) Reichel and was married Oct. 16, 1948, to Louis Melvin Tornow. Evelyn was a longtime member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Neenah. She was also a World War II veteran, having served as a Navy WAVE, stationed in San Diego. Survivors include: her husband, Louis Tornow; two daughters, Gail Tornow, Abby and Jeff Lingnofski; two granddaughters, Leah Lingnofski, Rebecca and Nate Johnson; her sister, Esther Coenen; two brothers, Fritz and Betty Reichel, Ron and Chris Reichel. She is further survived by in-laws, Robert Tornow and Bertha Koepke; many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service for Evelyn will be held Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Neenah, the Rev. Catherine A. K. Mode officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. at church until the hour of service. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Savior Lutheran Church in Evelyn's name would be appreciated.
