  LaVonne S. Weyland, age 74, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Oakridge Gardens. She was born on September 30, 1936, in Appleton, daughter of the late Otto and Wilma (Lau) Zastrow. On August 27, 1955, she married James Weyland and the marriage was blessed with six children and 35 years before he preceded her in death on March 20, 1991. LaVonne enjoyed painting and fixing up her house, tractor pulls, and bowling. She loved the Redhatters. And most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Vicky Weyland, Neenah, Debbie (Gary) Foth, Neenah; her sons: David Sr. (Lori) Weyland, Neenah, Jay (Mary) Weyland, Winchester, Cory (Sig. other Jenny) Weyland, Menasha; her grandchildren: Sarah, Melissa, Andria, Kimberly, Brianna, David Jr., Bradley, Makenzie, Candice, Jodie, James, Cassie; and a great granddaughter, Isabelle; her sisters: Carol Hoag, Appleton, Karen Zastrow, Appleton; brothers: Eldor (Jo) Zastrow, Center Valley, Dennis Zastrow, TX, Eugene (Jane) Zastrow; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and loving husband James, she was preceded in death by her son, Kelsey, and three brothers: Mike, Richard, and Kenny. The Christian Funeral Service for LaVonne will be on Monday, February 21, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Meier officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Sunday, February 20, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
