  William Kranzusch, age 89, of Appleton, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away May 13, 2011, at Rennes Health Care Center. He was born on May 19, 1921, of parents Harold and Ruth (Ricker) Kranzusch in Appleton. Bill married Jeanette Petersen on February 6, 1943, and enjoyed 68 loving years of marriage. He served in WWII as a member of the Army Air Corp. He was an alumnus of Marquette University, majoring in Accounting and Finance and resided in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, for 25 years. Bill held various positions as Controller in the Milwaukee area, was a charter member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls, an active volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America and Board Member of the Potawatomi Area Boy Scout Council in Waukesha. Bill and Jeanette moved to Appleton and formed Kranzusch and Associates, Advisory Investment Management in 1975. He became the first individual to receive the Certified Financial Planning designation in Northeastern Wisconsin in 1981. He provided selfless dedication helping individuals with their financial future and retired in 1995. In his retirement, he was an active member of Appleton Kiwanis Golden K Club and was past president. Bill is survived by wife, Jeanette; son, Charles (Judith) Kranzusch and grandsons: Trevor and Chad. Also surviving is a sister, Mary Jane (Dr. Milton) Fox of Sun City, Arizona. He was preceded in death by parents; and in-laws, Charles and Clara Petersen. The funeral service for Bill will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2011, at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 209 S. Allen St., in Appleton with Pastor Kurt Kovanen officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Memorials are appreciated to the Appleton Kiwanis Golden K Scholarship - Youth Projects and Trinity Lutheran Church, Appleton.
