  Helen R. Peters, age 82, Shiocton, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 04, 2013, at Appleton Medical Center. Helen was born on August 28, 1930, in DePere daughter of the late Rueben and Ruth (Phillips) Fisher. On April 19, 1952, she was united in marriage to Raphael "Ray" Peters. He preceded her in death in 1999. Helen enjoyed watching the Packers, NASCAR (especially Dale Jr.), Danielle Steel movies and the Country Music Awards on Television. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and talking on her cell phone. Helen is survived by her children: Bonnie Peters, New London, her children, Shawn and Alan; Karen (Larry Sr.) Sherwood, Hortonville, their children: Jamie, Christopher, Michael and Larry Jr.; Debbie (Steve) Powell (both deceased), their children, Christine, Jennifer, and Stephanie; Barb (George) Webster, DePere, their children, Tracey, Jamison and Justin; Linda Offerosky, Manawa, her children, Matthew, Floyd and Samantha; Carolyn (Dave) Schumann, Winneconne, their children, Craig, Timothy, and Amanda; James (Denise) Peters, Shiocton, their children, Codi and Logan; David (Brenda) Peters, Shiocton, David Jr. and Rebecca; Tom (Jeannie) Peters, Little Chute, their children, Ashley and Amber; Sandi Allen (Dale Dorn), Black Creek, children, Levi, Trevor and Dawson; and Lisa (John) Orther, Clintonville, their children, Jordan, Taylor and Madisen. Forty-nine great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband "Ray", daughter, Debbie, son in-laws, Randy and Steve, three grandsons, Jeremy, Joseph and William, one great-grandson, Brandon and also a sister and brothers. Funeral services for Helen will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Shiocton with Rev. Gordon Lane officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Published in Appleton Post-Crescent on February 6, 2013
