  Notes	John Lafond, wife, and several children were also born in Canada. His wife is Marguerite in the marriage above, but Marcelline in the census .... the children have unique names (not all Joseph and Marie), so it was easier to find the correct couple ... I know it won't look right at first, but all the baptisms of the children show the mother as Marcelline St-Pierre. Dessein = Dessaint, which is part of her "dit" name, Dessaint dite St-Pierre. Anne may be part of her baptismal name, but she used Marcelline on a day-to-day basis.
