  Suzanne "Suzy" E. Sengstock, age 73, of 80 N. Main St., Clintonville, passed away Friday, March 19, 2004 at the Shawano Medical Center. Suzy was born on Feb 7, 1931 in Appleton, the daughter of the late John and Gladys (Topp) Swanke. She graduated from Tigerton High School and continued her education, graduating from U. W. Stevens Point. Suzy was united in marriage to Henry Sengstock on March 7, 1953 in Waupaca. The couple had lived in Clintonville all of their married life. Suzy served as schoolteacher for Shawano, Clintonville and then Birnamwood Public School Systems retiring in 1990. Henry preceded his wife in death on March 18, 1999. Suzy enjoyed involvement in community development such as the Clintonville Public Library, Clintonville downtown project, the new Clintonville High School and the Wittenberg Aquatic Center. She also enjoyed playing bridge, was a member of the Clintonville Riverside Golf Club and the St. Rose Catholic Church, Clintonville. Suzy's family would like to express their gratitude to everyone for their thoughts and prayers throughout the years. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include three daughters, Paula Sengstock, Neenah; Karen (Sam) Schultz, Shiocton; Judy Sengstock, Brevard, N.C.; one son, Stephen (Cathy) Sengstock, Shawano; one stepson, Robert (Karen) Sengstock, Kaukauna; eight grandchildren, Peter and Patrick Sengstock, Shawano; Travis and Laney Schultz, Shiocton; Scott Sengstock, Sun Prairie; Kathy (Bart) Larson, Neenah; Sarah (Greg) Kamyszek, Jackson, Wis.; Paul Sengstock, Kaukauna; six great-grandchildren; one brother, John (Jane) Swanke, Shawano. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband (Henry); and her stepfather (Francis Thompson). Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2004 at the St. Rose Catholic Church, Clintonville with Rev. Donald Everts officiating and interment will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call at the Church from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the time of the service.
