  Michael J. Krueger, age 55, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 20, 2011, at U. W. Health Center in Madison. Mikey was born in Appleton on March 22, 1956, to the late Emery and Mary Krueger. He graduated with the class 1974 at Appleton West High School. After High School, Mikey proudly served his country in the U. S. Army. He worked as a print technician for many years at Impact Printing then went on as Senior Print Technician at Theda Care Printing for 10 years. He loved golfing, fishing, hunting, playing cards, and spending time with his family - especially his grandchildren. He is survived by 3 daughters: Sarah (Corey) Martin, Kimberly, Stephanie (David) Diemel, Nichols, and Amanda McCarthy, Charleston, SC; a son Scott Krueger, Kimberly; 7 grandchildren: Teya, Alyssa, Landon, Baylie, Kiera, Ethan, and Bentley; his mother, Mary Krueger, Appleton; 4 brothers: Emery R. Krueger, John R. Krueger, Timothy J. (Marlene) Krueger, and Joseph M. Krueger; 4 sisters: Rosemary J. Baker, Joan M. Hazen, Barbara H. Krueger, and Kristine M. Krueger. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and special friends. A Memorial Service will take place at 4 pm on Thursday, August 25 at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel, followed immediately by full military honors performed by Appleton Legion Post #38. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 2 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
