  Chilton – the funeral of Mrs. Theresa Barry, 75, widow of Thomas Barry, was held at St. Augustine's Church Monday. Rev. Ralph Goggins of the Dominican Order, who is a nephew of the deceased, and Rev. John R. McGinley, pastor of St. Augustine's church officiated. Interment was in St. Augustine's cemetery. Mrs. Barry, whose girlhood name was Theresa King, daughter of James and Ann King, was born in Phoenixville, Penn., Mar. 16, 1856. She came to Wisconsin with her parents in 1858 and settled in the town of Rantoul. She graduated from the Chilton public schools and taught in the public schools of Calumet County until 1883 when she was married to the late Thomas Barry. The young couple located on a farm in Chilton town, where they remained until 1900 when the family moved to the city. Here Mrs. Barry lived until two years ago, when failing health, following the death of her husband necessitated her removal to the McCormick Memorial Home in Green Bay. Mrs. Barry was a devout member of St. Augustine's church and a member of the Christian Mothers' Sodality. She possessed the virtues of a good Christian woman, unswerving integrity and loyalty and was sympathetic and responsive to the joys and sorrows of those she knew. Her life exerted an influence for good among those with whom she had contact. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Beatrice of Milwaukee and Mrs. B. Hart of Chicago and five sons, James of Sheboygan; Alfred of Chilton; Thomas and Garret of Milwaukee and Donald of Cincinnati, Ohio and seven grandchildren. Chilton times - April 30, 1931
