  Biography	Michael was killed in action in Viet Nam in April 1966. He had enlisted in the Marine Corps Immediately after graduation from High School in 1963. He rose to the rank of Corporal and at the time of his death he had been serving about a year in Vietnam. He would have been eligible for home leave in about one more month. He was buried in Appleton and a Marine Honor Guard escorted his body home.
