  Dorothy F. Arft, 87, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother passed away at Rennes on April 21, 2007. She was born on Jan. 12, 1920, in Appleton to William and Jeanette (Jackson) Delrow. On Sept. 5, 1942, she was united in marriage to John L. Arft. They were married for 64 wonderful years. She enjoyed needlework, reading, and the Chicago Cubs, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorothy was employed as a secretary with the Appleton Area School District. She is survived by her children, Jim (Diane) Arft, Shiocton; William (Dorothy) Arft, North Port, Fla; Roberta Caldwell, Des Soto, Kan; brother, Donald (Marcella) Delrow, Jacksonville, Fla; sister, Mary Bremmer, Amhurst, Wis; sister-in-law, Kathryn Delrow, Kaukauna, Wis; brother-in-law, James Besch, Appleton, Wis; seven grandchildren, Mark (Julie) Arft, Combined Locks; Mike (Lyn) Arft, Appleton; Melissa (Dennis) Koehler, Kimberly; Gary (Dawn) Mcananey, North Brook, Ill; Jini Olsen, Round Lake Park, Ill; Michael (Toni) Caldwell, DeSoto, Kan; Michele (Tom) Smith, DeSoto, Kan; great-grandchildren, Elliot and Aleigha Arft, Christopher and Brandon Ertl, Kayla Arft, Janet and Isaac Koehler, Quinn and Allie Mcananey, Samantha Olsen, Bret and Rhiannon Caldwell and Ben and Brittny Smith. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; her sister, Virginia Besch; brother, Edward Delrow and a brother-in-law, Francis Bremmer. Funeral services for Dorothy will be at Valley Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at noon, with the Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, April 23, 2007, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and also 11 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Valley Funeral Home 2211 N.
