  Last Monday, Nov. 2, Mr. William Ristow, an old settler in this region, died at the age of 84 and 10 days. He died in the house of his only son, Herman Ristow, who is a reader of "Volsfreud:, (Friend of the people). The Deceased was born on the 22 October 1830, in Pomerania. He married Friedericke Zittlow in 1853 and in the following year came with here to America. They settled first in Watertown, Wisconsin. After a period of about a year, they moved to Monroe, Wis. where they stayed a half year. Then they came to Wrightstown and lived here on the farm. The wife of the deceased preceded him into eternity by 25 years. Of his 3 children, 2 sons and 1 daughter, the daughter and one son have already died. He is survived by one son, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. The burial took place today, Wednesday, in the afternoon at the Lutheran Church, with a large group of mourners. May the deceased rest in peace.
