  Mrs. Leona Osterthun (Leona Krull) Nichols. Wise. Age 77 passed away at 8:30 pm Friday at the Colonial Nursing Home Shawano after a long illness She was born July 3, l888 in Navarino Wisc., the daughter of the late Herman Krull and the former Hattie Hilleker In November 1918 she married Frank Osterthun in Milwaukee She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the United Church of Christ'of both Navarino and Nichols, Wisc Mrs. Osterthun is survived by one step-daughter, Mrs. Robert McCann, Columbus, Ohio: one step-son, Clarence Osterthun, Beaver Dam; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Fahrenkrug, Menasha; Mrs. Stuart McDowell, Nichols; three brothers Carl and John, Nichols; Erie, Appleton. Her husband preceded her in death in July 1945. Funeral services will be held at 1;30 p m Monday at the United Church of Christ, Navarino with the Rev. Donald Schmidt officiating In- terment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the Muehl Funeral Home after 3 pm Sunday until 11 a.m.Monday and after 12 noon at the church until the hour of the services.
