  Louella Muthig, age 85, of Appleton, died peacefully at her home on Friday, October 21, 2011. Louella was born in Land O Lakes, WI on January 26, 1926, to the late Paul and Maude (Rice) Mayo. She owned and operated La Chez Chevoux Salon in Menasha for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Van Handel, Appleton; son Brad (Christine) Muthig, Dale; 5 grandchildren: Donna (Dan) Daniels, Corry Van Handel, Victoria Van Handel, Scott (Rhonda) Van Handel, and Doug Van Handel; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Doug Muthig, grandson Matthew Muthig, a great granddaughter Brooke, and 10 brothers and sisters.
