  Mrs. Jerry (Lynne) Cady, 63, Townsend, formerly of De Pere, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, April 10, 2008, at home in Townsend. The daughter of the late Howard and Eloise (Smits) Zirbel was born Oct. 29, 1944, in De Pere. Lynne married Jerry Cady in 2001. She retired from Festival Foods in 2006. Lynne loved living "Up North" and snowmobiling and four wheeling. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved her family very much. She is survived by her husband, Jerry, Townsend; her children, Brian "Tiny" Smits, De Pere; Jennifer (Mark) Doherty-Schuessler, Minnesota; and Maureen Sclag, Green Bay; and her daughter-in-law, Sue Smits, De Pere; her siblings, Barb (Dick) Hooyman, Dennis (Nancy) Zirbel, Debbie (Gordy) Hutjens. Jerry's family further survives, Randy (Kris) Cady, Beth (Kurt) Kuyken, and Amy (Orlando) Dixon. Lynne was preceded in death by her first husband, Rick Smits, and her son Brad Smits.
