  Daniel Henry Van Deurzen Daniel H. Van Deurzen, 38, Hilbert, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born September 15, 1976, son of Don and Evelyn (Brantmeier) Van Deurzen. On September 19, 1998, Dan was united in marriage to his sweetheart, Nicole Van Dyn Hoven. He has worked as a farmer for most of his life, and worked at Lamers Dairy as a milk truck driver for several years. Dan was a member and trustee at Lighthouse Church in Kaukauna. He didn't have a lot of personal hobbies because, all in all, Nikki and the children were his hobbies. Dan is survived by his loving wife, Nicole; his five precious children: Abraham (14), Isaac (12), Nathanael (10), Uriah (7), and Ruth (4); his parents, Don and Evelyn; siblings: Rosann (Jack) Dax, Dave (Diane), Mike (Julie), Pete (Nicki), Theresa (Jon) Baroun, Vicki, and Beth (Andy) De Bruin; mother-in-law, Marcie Rosin; father-in-law, Gerald Van Dyn Hoven; brother-in-law, Eric Van Dyn Hoven; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents; his brothers: Richard and Steve; a niece, Laura. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute, with Pastor Michael West officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, October 11, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will continue on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
