  Family History Researcher	From Jeanne Bristol 8/15/2015; I have been spending some time searching my first husband' Dan Owens' family whose mother was Ruth Payne (1915-94), and Ruth's mother Laura Phoebe Allie had died in the first years after Ruth's birth and Clyde Payne remarried so contact was lost to all the maternal grandparents. Did some searching and it turns out that Laura Allie (1889- approx 1918) was a descendant of the Grignon family. The interesting thing is that Dan Owen's father William W Owens and Ruth Payne Owens built a home at the very end of Grignon St in Kaukauna where the living room window overlooked the home that her 4th great grandfather had lived. I remember one year we gave Ruth a photo of the valley as seen from her window and she burst out in tears, What she didn't know at the time it was her family home.
