  Mrs. George D. Gilman Mrs. George D. Gilman, 80, 941 W. Fifth street, died at 12:55 this morning after a 6- month illness. She was born Nov. 30, 1877, in Central Falls Rhode Island, and lived in Ap- pleton the last 50 years. She and her husband celebrated their 60th wedding anniver- sary, last June 15. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Mary Catholic church with burial in the par- ish cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 Friday eve- ling at the Wichmann Funeral home where friends may call after 2 o'clock Friday after- noon. Survivors include her hus- band, two daughters, Mrs. Peter Giovannini, Neenah, and Major M. Laura Gilman, stationed at Fort Benjamin Garrison, Indianapolis,Ind.; one son, Joseph, Cleveland Heights, Ohio; eight grand- children and eight great- grandchildren.
