  Cora I. Mielke, 87, Fond du Lac, formerly of Seymour, passed away Friday, March 9, 2007, at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac. She was born Oct. 29, 1919, to the late Edward and Ida (Pauls) Mielke in Seymour. Cora graduated from Seymour High School and shortly after worked at Valley Bank as a loan officer until her retirement. She taught piano lessons and Sunday School. Cora was the organist at the United Methodist Church in Seymour for more than 50 years. Her pride and joy was raising and arranging her gladiolas and was active on state and local levels of the Gladiola Society. She was also a member of the Green Bay Garden Club and the Fenton Finders Club. She is survived by a brother, Gerald (Grace) Mielke, Fond du Lac; two nieces, Mary Grace (Michael) Murray, Libertyville, Ill.; and Gerianne (Douglas) Pertl, Fond du Lac; two great-nieces, Melinda (Christopher) Hubbard and Andrea Pertl; two great-nephews, Geoffrey Murray and Benjamin Pertl; and two great-great-nephews, Aiden and Gavin Hubbard; and a special cousin, Audrey (Clayton) Ebert. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at the United Methodist Church in Seymour at 12 p.m. Pastor Phillip Burt officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Seymour City Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.boettcher funeralhomes.com
