  James P. Quella, age 76 of Neenah, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011. He was born September 20, 1935 to the late William and Marian (MacDonald) Quella in Menasha. After high school, Jim joined the Army, serving in Korea, and then married Barbara Russell. He worked for and retired from the Soo Line Railroad. Jim was a very "goofy" man with a great sense of humor who always had something silly to say. He was an avid hunter, having enjoyed the hunt for deer and ducks, and was always dreaming of catching that trophy trout. He was a fan of folk and old country music. Jim is survived by his wife, Barb; his children: Daniel Quella; Jacquelyn (David) Lovejoy; and Peter (Patti) Quella; six grandchildren; and his sister, Carole. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Janet and Mary; brother, Ronald; and daughter-in-law, Karen Poudrier-Quella. A memorial service for Jim will be held Monday, November 21, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Jim's name. Please just say goodbye and maybe a prayer or two. Remember me the way I was - as I'll remember you. And if you believe in passersby, or spirits coming back, watch for me along a stream by an abandoned railroad track. Somewhere there is a trophy trout - I haven't found him yet!
