  Gladys I. Baehman, age 84, of Hortonville, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, June 7, 2012. She was born on January 9, 1928 in Norrie, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Carl and Clara (Erickson) Holtz. Gladys graduated from Birnamwood High School in 1946. On September 22, 1951 she was united in marriage to Donald E. Baehman at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Birnamwood. He preceded her in death on October 11, 2008. She worked at Hillshire Farm in New London for many years until her retirement. Gladys and Donald enjoyed spending time in the summer at their cottage on Lake Matonga. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and being with her family. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville. She is survived by her children: Connie (Rev. Greg) Bey, Indonesia; Faye (Mark) Mitchell, Neenah; son: James (Carrie) Baehman, Hortonville; five grandchildren: Sena (Brian) Yerges, Emily Bey (fiancé-Christopher Linderman), Grace (Jeremy) Seeger, Scott Mitchell and Serena Baehman; seven step-grandchildren: Jill, Jenna, Tina, Michael, Aubrie, Randi and Alaina; one great grandchild Nora; three sisters: Alice Lund, Tomahawk; Dorothy Fischer, Wittenberg; Marion Schrank, Wausau; brother: Carl (Diane) Holtz, Racine; sisters-in-law: Mae Baehman, Hortonville; Helen Baehman, Hortonville; Ada Huebner, New London. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband. The Christian Funeral for Gladys will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville with Rev. Ralph Rosenberg officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Hortonville. A visitation for Gladys will be held directly at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
