  Lavina Schwab lived with her daughter, Mrs. Willian A. (Clara) Kasten, 1418 W. Harris St. Appleton at the time of her death. She passed away at age 89 at the home of her daughter after a lingering illness. Lavina was born in Hortonville on Sept. 26, 1871 and lived on a farm in the town of Greenville for many years until she came to Appleton 9 years ago. Mrs. Schwab was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church and was an honorary member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church. In addition to her daughter, she was survived by 3 grandsons and 12 great grandchildren. Services were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church officiated by Rev. F. M.
