  Florence H. Lemke, age 84, 821 Vogt Lane, Chilton, died Saturday Jan. 29, 2005, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Appleton. She was born Dec. 31, 1920, in Marathon County a daughter of the late Walter and Olga Ahrenz Jaeger. She attended Kiel Elementary and High School. On June 23, 1945, she married Henry Lemke at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Kiel. Florence and her husband farmed in the Brillion area until they began working at Tecumseh Engine Products in New Holstein. Florence retired from Tecumseh in 1983. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in New Holstein, a member of the Ladies Aid and a former choir member of the church. Survivors include her husband Henry, Chilton; two daughters, Shirley Lemke, Wausau and Diane Diederich, Wausau; and one grandson, Travis Diederich, Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday Feb. 2, 2005, at Zion Lutheran Church in New Holstein. Rev. John Schenck, the church pastor, will officiate. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Friends may call at the CHURCH on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund will be established in her name. The Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein is assisting the family.
