Harold A. Ott, Wrightstown, age 91, passed away after battling cancer on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Matthews of Wrightstown. Harold was born on December 25, 1921 in Forest Junction, Wisconsin, son of the late Alfred and Elsie (Hacker) Ott. He was united in marriage to Phyllis M. Oudenhoven on December 10, 1955 and they lived in Forest Junction where he was a farmer and worked at Wickes Lumber Company. During that time he served many years as the Fire Chief for the volunteer fire department. Harold was a veteran of World War II and has been an active member of the American Legion for over 60 years. Survivors include his seven children: Robin (Mike) Sommerfeld, Reed (Pat) Ott, Raye Ann (E. Thomas) Robinson, Cherie (Jim) Miller, Randy (Kathy) Ott, Richard (Kassie) Ott, and Donald Ott; 18 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis, his parents; his 5 brothers: Roland, Roger, Wallace, Leo and Ray; his 4 sisters: Mildred, Helen, Jane and Shirley; grandson, Chad; and great-grandson, Eiji. A Celebration of Harold's life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 3013 at the Alleluia Lutheran Church, 6725 Elmro Road, Greenleaf with Pastor Aaron Hutton officiating. Military Honors will follow the service at the church. Friends and family may call directly at the church from 12:00 Noon until the time of service.
