  Steffens, Vincent J.; Litt le ChuteAge 87, died Wednesday, May 15, 2002 at Appleton Medical Center, followi ng a short illness. He was born November 14, 1914, at Five Corners, s on of the late Joseph and Minnie (Ebben) Steffens. Vince was employed a nd retired from Thilmany Pulp and Paper in 1972. He was member of Holy Cro ss Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Vince was a member of the Knights of Columb us Council 1033. On September 10, 1938, Vince married the former Lucy V an Domelen, she preceded him in death on April 13, 1993. he later marri ed the former Leona Woods; she survives and resides at Parkside Care Cente r, Little Chute. Vince is further survived by three sons and two daughters -in-law: Lee Steffens, Kaukauna; Gary (Berne) Steffens, Little Chute; Ma rc (LeeAnn) Steffens, Brookfield; four daughters and two sons-in-law: Marl ene (James) Kilsdonk, Darboy; Sharon Huss; Bonnie (Robert) Driessen; and L inda Waters, all of Kaukauna; 13 grandchildren: Thomas and Karen Kilsdon k, Paula Nackers, Lisa Van Schyndel, Shelly Hokenstad, Todd and Craig Drie ssen, Aaron Steffens, Amy Weyenberg, Robbi and Bobbi Jo Waters, Reed and P aige Steffens, and 10 great-grandchildren. Vince is further survived by th ree brothers and six sisters-in-law: George (Gina) Steffens; William (Marg aret) Steffens; Melvin (Beverly) Steffens, Jean Steffens, Nancy Steffens-S himek, Michaeline Steffens; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Floren ce (George) Bodde, Genevieve (Harold) Frederickson, and Lorraine Corby. Vi nce is preceded in death by his first wife, Lucy, two sisters; Sr. Jane Fr ances Steffens, Sr. Leonare Steffens, two brothers-in-law: Robert Corby a nd Lloyd Shimek, four brothers and a sister-in-law: Richard, Francis, Pete r(Dorothy), and Nicholas Steffens. Funeral services were held Friday, M ay 17, 2002 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Father James Luc as officiating. Burial took place in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Sherw ood.
