  Mr. Amil W. Hofmann 302 North Outagamie St. Age 79, passed away at 7:15 pm. Saturday after a short illness. He was born June l. 1892 in Petosky,Michigan and had been an Appleton resident since he had been a young man where he was employed by the Appleton Post-Crescent as a linotype operator for 30 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Post-Crescent Quarter Century Club; St. Jo- seph Catholic Church and was a Charter Member of the Catholic War Veterans having been a World War I Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Veroni- ca. 3 daughters, Mrs Don- (Marv) Volpe Torrence, Cali- fornia, Mrs. Earl (Alice) Pen- nings,Appleton Beverlv Hof- mann, Hawthorne, California 2 step - daughters, Mrs. Harold (Germaine) He'sse, Appleton, and Mrs. Gene (Virginia) Ker- shek, Brookfield, Wis.; 3 stepsons, Roge r Bmsfeld, La Crosse, Joseph J Binsfe1d, Wauwatosa, and Dr. Richard M. Binsfeld, Appleton, one sister, Mrs George Cantile, Lexington, Mich.; 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 15 step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10.30 Tuesday morning from St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday until 10:15 at which time the cortege will leave for the church.
