  Last Rites For Pet er E. Lauer Held Monday FUNERAL SERVICES were held for Peter E. Lauer, 78, were held Monday m orning from St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev. Donal Berg officiatin g. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were L.K. Anderson, Leslie VanDomelen, Ed Brown, Matt D eutsch, Rex Lauer and Victor Drozd. Mr. Lauer was born on December 16, 1889 in Hilbert Wisconsin the s on of Matt and Josephine Lauer. He came to Stanley seventy years ago and w as a barber for a time and then was employed at the Lauer Hardware Store u ntil his retirement in 1954. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church . IN 1916 HE WAS MARRIED to Ethel LeBlanc at St. Anne's Catholic Chur ch and she survives him, as does a daughter, Phyllis, Mrs. Robert Dagge tt of Madison and four grandchildren.
