  Young, Judith M. (nee Verbeten) AppletonAge 53, died on Sunday, July 28, 2002 at her home. Judith was born on Apr il 30, 1949, daughter of the late Howard and Mabel (Huss) Verbeten. She lo ved to spend time with her grandson Alex. Judith also enjoyed dancing a nd listening to music; especially Alabama, Kenny Rodgers and the Beach Boy s.She is survived by her children: Amy (Christopher) Croatt, Mari Young, Mic hael Young; her sister, Patricia (Roger) Bowers, Sr.; her brothers, Jam es (Leta) and Daniel (Margie) Verbeten; her grandson, Alex Croatt; her sis ter-in-law, Rosella Verbeten; and her former spouse, Gary Young. She is fu rther survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Judith was preced ed in death by her grandparents, John (Julia) Verbeten and Michael (Mar y) Huss.The Funeral Mass will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 200 2, at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 West Lawrence Street, Appleton, wi th Rev. Ken Reinhart, OFM Cap. officiating. The entombment will be he ld at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends will be received at the ch urch on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.Judith was a loving, caring woman who always had a smile on her face.
